New to blogging, so here goes nothing

Hi,

I am a Chartered Psychologist with over 12 years’ experience working with the NHS and as a private practitioner. I keep being asked to share some of my professional experiences and thoughts, so here goes. I will share some ideas, current thinking, research and ideas to improve mental wellbeing. I will talk about some of the therapies that I use such as Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT) and other approaches such as the use of Mindfulness and Compassion Focused Therapies.
